I don't recall if there were lock washers supplied for all the bolts. If not, I supplied them. We never build something like this without lock washers.
One improvement I remember making was using wood glue at both ends of the two stretchers. When stretchers loosen, wobble begins. The kit supplies long wood screws to attach the stretchers, but also using exterior use wood glue should extend the non-wobble life by 300%, maybe more.
We're using these on a patio at home, but the quality is easily up to years of heavy duty use on the front porch of an inn or B&B.
